CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

General Cleaning Instructions:

Use non-abrasive soap and water when possible.  Review instructions on cleaner label before applying to surface of Rebath products.  Never use abrasives.  Thoroughly rinse the entire surface after each cleaning.

Cleaning BathGuard, The Slip Resistant Bottom:

Scrub gently with soft nylon brush using any of the approved Cleaners.  Use undiluted Palmolive dish detergent on stubborn stains.  Do not use ScothBrite pads or any other type of abrasive products.

Light Scratches or Abrasions:

Light abrasions or scratches can be removed and the original gloss fully restored using the following products.  Follow the instructions provided with each product.

•        Novus Plastic Polish
•        Mirror Glaze Professional Formula #17
•        J-Wax or Kit Automotive Cleaner/Waxes
•        DuPont or TurtleWax “White Polish”

Approved Household Cleansers:

The Cleaners listed below have been tested and found to be safe for use on Re-Bath Bathtub liners, Shower Base Liners and Wall Surround Systems.  Please note that we have not tested the cleaning effectiveness of these products.  This will vary depending on several factors, including the type and amount of soil, water hardness, type of bath soaps used etc.

Warning:

Do not use harsh chemicals, "spray and leave" products, hair dyes, lime removers, toilet bowl cleaners, or chemical/cleaners that have not been approved by Re-Bath Corporation.  Use of these chemicals will cause discoloration, a dull surface, and/or chemical cracking or crazing of the acrylic surface.

Drain Cleaning:

The use of harsh drain cleaners is not recommended.  The preferred method for cleaning is to remove the drain and use a plumber's snake.  If chemical drain cleaners must be used, use a funnel and proceed cautiously.  If the drain cleaner comes in contact with the liner it will cause permanent discoloration and/or damage to the acrylic surface.

THE USE OF UNAPPROVED PRODUCTS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND MAY DAMAGE YOUR REBATH SYSTEM.  RE-BATH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY CHEMICAL REACTION.
